How to transform from old login to new login ?

Transforming from your old login to DetPhish login solution can be achieved as follows:

- New Users

Direct new users straight away to the new DetPhish solution registration page. User will have to define their userid and password and enter their basic details such as email address, phone number etc. Further, user will be prompted to fill values for the data elements presented on the screen. Once registration is complete, user wil be redirected to Detphish solution login page.

- Existing Users

Direct existing users logging in for the first time to the new login page. When a user enters their userid and clicks on the data elements drop down, connect to the backend API and check if the user is already upgraded to Detphish Login, which can be verified by checking if a record exists in the transformation data table for the userid. If no such record exists, redirect the user to the old login page and allow the old style authentication. Once authentication is complete, redirect the user to the new Detphish solution registration page. Following successful registration, the user is redirected to th Detphish solution login page for counter challene authentication.

If a record already exists for the user in transformation table, load the data elements drop down and allow the user to login with counter challenge authentication. When all the existing users are tranformed to the new login method, the old login page can be abandoned and deleted form the server.

For a faster transformation of all existing users, the website adminisrator can send send email to all users to login and transform themselves to the DetPhish login method.
